2022 Holiday Gifts for Clients
Are you a knitter, crocheter, sewer, or do you just love shopping for gifts?
Our 2022 holiday gift to our clients will be mittens, gloves or wrist warmers. Shhhhh...It's a surprise!
Any homemade medium or new, well-made mitten is great. Just please be sure they are good quality, new or lovingly made. Here are some free sewing patterns and tutorials: mittens with elastic, mittens without elastic, fingerless gloves from old sweaters. If you aren't a crafter yourself, please consider a pair from Etsy or many of the local craft & artist fairs. Click on photos above for ideas from local Etsy artists. Or check out some nice pairs from Amazon here!

Want to host an event or sell a product to support Longmont Meals on Wheels?
We can help!
Volunteer fundraisers have run races, sold honey, hosted concerts and requested donations in lieu of gifts, to name a few! Let us know your plans, and we would love to support you. We can give you a rapid donate platform so your friends or customers can donate fast with Paypal, Venmo or their favorite digital payment service. We can also share your plans if you would like!

Honey for Meals
Get your local, artisanal honey to support Longmont Meals on Wheels!
This year 3rd Avenue Honey has 6-ounce jars of whipped honey for a minimum donation of $6 each. ALL proceeds benefit Longmont Meals on Wheels, and these jars make the sweetest holiday gifts!

Washcloth Drive
Are you a knitter, crocheter, sewer or do you just love shopping for handmade items?
We are requesting sets of washcloths (2 each) for each client. Please be sure they are good quality, new and lovingly made. We need the washcloths by the first week of December 2023.

Woodley's Fine Furniture donated an outdoor furniture set from Mallin Casual for Longmont Meals on Wheels to give away in a sweepstakes!
The furniture set includes a couch, ottoman, and end table (vase and plant not included). The set is worth $3,299.00, and is crafted in the United States.

Mail donation to Longmont Meals on Wheels, 910 Longs Peak Ave, Longmont, CO 80501 or hand deliver donation to a Longmont Meals on Wheels staff member. Leaving a donation with the Longmont Senior Center staff is not a guarantee of delivery to Longmont Meals on Wheels. Each $10 donation is 1 entry. c) Follow Longmont Meals on Wheels on its Facebook and Instagram pages for periodic “special” entries. During these special periods, receive extra entries for your donation. Details will be on social media, and all donations must be at givebutter.com/lmowsweepstakes0724 and received during the “special” period. Follow prompts to complete the registration information, including name, address, valid email address and phone number. c) No Purchase and No Donation Alternative Method of Entry: During the Sweepstakes Entry Period, to receive 1 entry in the Sweepstakes without making a donation, clearly handprint on a 4” x 6” postcard your first name, last name, address, phone number, valid email address and “LMOW Woodley’s Sweepstakes.” Mail your postcard to Longmont Meals on Wheels, 910 Longs Peak Ave, Longmont CO 80501. Pickup will occur at Woodley’s Fine Furniture Longmont location. Delivery to Longmont, CO locations is $50. All other locations are subject to additional delivery fees at Winner’s responsibility and arrangement. Winner will be responsible for all other expenses relating to receipt and use of the Prize. Prize is nontransferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. Longmont Meals on Wheels reserves the right to substitute a Prize, in whole or part, for one of equal or greater value. Odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of valid and eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. 4) Sweepstakes Winner Selection.
