Matching & Volunteer Incentive
Many Employers Match Gifts or Support Employee Volunteer Hours
Many employers match charitable contributions made by their employees. Some companies may even match gifts made by retirees, spouses, and board members. Others provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar or more!
If your company is on our list, visit their website for more information on how to submit a matching gift request. If not, find out if your company already has a Matching Gift program and ask your company to match your financial donation or volunteer hours. Many companies will also match volunteer hours of spouses and retired employees too.
Gift Giving & Bequests
You can designate any gift as an honorarium by simply including the individual's name and mailing address. We will send that special someone a lovely card indicating that a gift has been made in their name. (If you wish for it to contain a personalized message, please include the message with the person's contact information.)
Planned Giving - Bequests
Once you have discussed with your attorney or financial planning professional how giving to Longmont Meals on Wheels, Inc. can be in both your best interest and that of the community, please consider any of the various forms of bequests that can be made to support our mission.
Specific Bequests are usually a stated dollar amount. They can also be a gift of securities, real estate, or other tangible personal property.
Residual Bequests - Longmont Meals on Wheels is designated to receive all or a percentage of the remainder of an estate after specific bequests have been fulfilled.
Contingent Bequests take effect only if all primary beneficiaries named in the will have deceased prior to the donor. Declaring Longmont Meals on Wheels a contingent beneficiary can prevent the property from going to the state if there are no heirs.
